“See” hit screens on Apple TV+ November 1, 2019. The drama had an excellent cast starring Game of Thrones Jason Momoa. The show was set many years into the future where the human population was blind. Until some people regained the ability to see. The Apple original proved extremely popular with audiences and it has been confirmed by Apple that we will be seeing a second season of the show. Here is everything we currently know about the upcoming season.

When will season 2 be released?

The finale of season 1 premiered on Apple TV+ December 6, 2019. Apple has announced that the second season will premiere in the fall of 2021 with each episode coming out weekly. The series was expected to premiere on the streaming service much earlier although production was halted due to the pandemic and only resumed six months later and is now estimated to finish in March of this year.

At the moment, no trailer has been released for the show. Stay tuned we will put the trailer here when it does come out. However, we do have some clips of the second season which can be found in a trailer posted by Apple of upcoming original programming. The video also highlights the return of other beloved Apple originals including “The Morning Show” and “Central Park”.

Cast

The full cast for the second season has not yet been announced. We predict that the following cast members will return:

  • Jason Momoa — Baba Voss
  • Hera Hilmar — Maghra
  • Alfre Woodard — Paris
  • Nesta Cooper — Haniwa
  • Archie Madekwe — Kofun
  • Sylvia Hoeks — Queen Kane
  • Franz Drameh — Boots
  • Joshua Henry — Jerlamerel

As well as the existing cast members we are expecting at least two new cast members. According to a report by Deadline, Adrian Paul will be joining the lineup playing the character Lord Harlan. Variety has also reported that David Bautista, known for his role in Guardians of the Galaxy

What will season 2 be about?

We assume that season two will focus on Baba Voss trying to save his daughter as well as the character Tamacti Jun potentially coming back alive. It is also likely that the series will begin from the same point where it left off. No rumours or information has been leaked about the upcoming series so we will have to wait for the trailer.

Season 1 of “SEE” is streaming in full on Apple TV+ and too watch the series when it becomes available all you need is an active subscription to Apple TV+ which can be accessed through the Apple TV app or at tv.apple.com. Also coming soon to the lineup includes “The Mosquito Coast” and the second season of the highly anticipated “The Morning Show”.
