I might hold off on buying this new version for a couple of reasons. It seems that this is supposed to be an upgraded model for people who primarily use their Apple TV for streaming content. The new Siri remote does not come with a accelerometer or gyroscope so it will be no good for some games. This comes at the same time where Apple have just given Apple Arcade 30 new games and there are rumours that they are working on a controller and bringing even more console level games to the service. So I think we may see an "Apple TV Pro" or something like that at a October event, there is a rumoured Apple TV+ event where there could be this new hardware, along with updates to Apple TV+ and Apple Arcade.
